About Us

Founded in 2009 by two real estate attorneys who were tired of watching closings get rushed at the expense of accuracy, Clearview Title has spent seventeen years quietly building a reputation as the firm that simply doesn’t drop the ball.

About Us

Seventeen years, one philosophy

When founders Elena Marsh and David Chen left their respective real estate practices in 2009, they had a single thesis: title work should be the part of a transaction nobody worries about, because the people doing it actually care.

That philosophy guided the first closing, and it guides the twelve-thousand-four-hundredth. We’ve grown to four states and forty-one team members, but every file still passes through the same calm, methodical workflow our founders established at a kitchen table in Charlotte.

The industry has changed dramatically since then—remote notarization, blockchain pilots, AI-assisted underwriting—and we’ve adopted the tools that genuinely help our clients. But the part that matters most has never changed: a real person, on the other end of the line, who knows your file by name.

What We Believe

Three principles, unmovable.

Precision before speed

A closing that records on Friday with an undiscovered easement is worse than one that records on Monday without it. We’ll always pick the right Monday.

Truth, plainly stated

If we find a problem with your title, you’ll hear about it in the next hour—not at the closing table. Bad news travels faster than good news here, on purpose.

Stewardship of trust

Every wire we send carries someone’s life savings. We treat each one as if it were our own, because for the family on the other end, it is.
